Ye Old'e Trip to Jerusalem est 1189 A.D. NottingHam Castle

Today March 18th 2013,  I witnessed the greatest Event of my Naval career.  CTRCM Turner rewrote the Oath of Enlistment to include both Otters and Unicorns.    All that humor aside the greatest part is where she decided to have this sacred event.  The pictures you see below are of the oldest pub in all of England.  It is built into the side of the Nottingham castle.  Yes that is Right Nottingham Castle.  I must be kin to Robin of Larksley because I to had my run in with the Sheriffs of Nottingham.  Well more of the parking attendant.  I new my time was expired, and he was walking toward the car.  I took off to intervene by asking for directions.  It worked! Another of the Sheriffs men was thwarted by my clever disguise.

AH, YES I AM ROBIN HOOD.

Above you can see the sand stone walls of the castle.  In the picture below you can see the pub coming out of the side of the rocks.

There is Todd in the Road, and below is my first beer of the day 1100!

Aside from the fact that the shadows in this room look like the head of a horse, that vent hole goes for ever up and then out above the castle walls.  These people are anti gun, but just look at the weapons they have on their wall.

Above is an amazing chair made from a whiskey barrel! hopefully soon I too will have a set of these!

Here we are about to embark on a tour of the cellar. I was hoping for more than stale beer and spider webs.  Turns out I got more!

So apparently the Famous Grouse sponsors this place, but they don't even serve that trash in there!

Now this lady was sure excited about her job...

That's right I am the King!

Now he is the King... Rod!

I thought that it was a cellar tour not my kitchen!

 Let the reenlistment begin!

Here we all are! About to leave! For a journey around Nottingham!

Trust me I have the map from the COP... "yea that helped"

The RED HOT WORLD BUFFET....

You take my pic, I'll take yours were even!

He seems happy about something!

And there they go headed home!

I hope you enjoyed my Blog today!
